Below are the Terms and Conditions of Inverness Model Shop.
Photographs displayed on our site and within our store are for illustrative purposes only and may vary slightly. Please read all product descriptions carefully.
All products featured on the Inverness Model Shop website are subject to availability. If any products you have ordered are out of stock you will be notified and offered to accept alternative products or to cancel your order. Any payment that you have made to us will be fully refunded.
Pricing & Ordering Information
Prices displayed on our site are in £ sterling including VAT at the current rate and exclusive of delivery charge. We reserve the right at any time, to modify, alter or update store item information and prices. We accept the following credit / debit cards and payment methods:
Payment will be debited to your account before your order is dispatched.
By placing any order with us you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions. However, you will only have entered a binding contract once we have sent confirmation of receipt of your order either by email or in writing and providing that the conditions of any relevant promotional offers have been complied with. Inverness Model Shop reserve the right to cancel any orders that do not comply with the conditions of promotions and offers. If such a situation arises you will be fully refunded.
You will receive confirmation of your order either by way of a reference number if booking by telephone or in writing if ordering online or by post. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
The website will be updated from time to time and therefore may have changed when you come to place an order. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information about each of our items on our online store please be aware that errors can occur. You are advised to check all details carefully before submitting your order to us.
In order to cancel an order before we have dispatched it, please call us immediately and confirm in writing by sending an email or fax. Any payments made will be refunded to you into the account originally charged.
Our Returns Policy
You are entitled to return ordered goods within 7 days of receipt. The returned goods must be unopened, unused and in the same condition as they were when dispatched by Inverness Model Shop. If you wish to return goods please telephone us to say which items you wish to return. When returning goods we recommend that you post them using recorded delivery and we will then refund the cost of the goods, excluding the postage charge, within 14 days to the account originally charged provided the goods have been received in satisfactory condition. You are liable for the costs involved in returning unwanted goods to us.
If you receive any damaged goods please contact us immediately. You will be offered a replacement or a full refund.
Delivery & Shipping
We now only deliver within the UK. If you wish to make any enquiries regarding shipping costs then please use our enquiry form.
If items are lost or damaged on their way to you, we must await confirmation from the courier or postal service used that the parcel was lost or damaged before we can resend items. Placing a claim to have the value of the item refunded can take between 15 and 30 days. We require written confirmation from the customer before any claim can be processed. The best way of doing this is to send us an email outlining your order number along with your name and the delivery address. In some cases we will not be able to despatch a replacement until this claim is complete.
Please note that heavier items will incur an additional charge of £15.00 GBP.
Inverness Model Shop does not share personal data with anyone except when we are required to do so by law. Email notifications of Special Offers will be sent if requested by you.
